As a satellite of CIEMT, this is an accelerated EMT course offered three days a week and will take approximately 7 weeks to complete. We meet 21 days from 8:00AM to 3:00PM M-W-F and the classroom is located at the McCormick Ambulance facility at 13933 Crenshaw Blvd., Hawthorne CA 90250. This Course has limited enrollment so register early and get a deposit in to secure your spot in the class. Students will gain the skill and knowledge needed to become Emergency Medical Technicians and be prepared to pass the National Registry certification exam. Equipment required for the course such as stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, splinting devices and spinal boards will be provided by the school at no cost to the student. The program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician at a hospital and Ambulance driver or attendant.

The only prerequisite for the EMT course is a current American Heart Association CPR/AED Healthcare Provider card. (CIEMT will provide the AHA certification at a reduced cost for students currently enrolled in the CIEMT EMT Course.)

Students must also provide a copy of their GED or High school diploma which is a requirement per the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.

The full tuition amount of One Thousand and ninety five dollars must be paid in full to CIEMT no later than the beginning of the first day of instruction of the course.

A MINIMUM DEPOSIT OF $200 MUST BE PAID 10 WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF THE EMT COURSE TO CONFIRM YOUR SPOT IN THE CLASS. YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED FROM REGISTRATION IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE PAYMENT.
